Saint Seiya, or Knights of the Zodiac because….yeah…has been an immensely popular anime since the history of forever. It came to my attention in the late 90s because the only other Seiya I knew in anime was Sailor Moon’s non-love interest when Tuxedo Mask disappeared in the final season of Sailor Moon: Sailor Stars. Confused yet? It’s all just nerd crap.
Regardless, Saint Seiya has remained wildly popular over the years with a huge fan base (primarily international from my understanding). It delights me that new toys continue to come out for these fantastic looking characters. Seriously, I just love their fantastical knight magical boy costumes. Check out these new releases by Funko and celebrate classic anime (yes, I know it’s still being made). CLASSIC ANIME!
