Ravensbuger’s Enchanted Forest will help you escape from Quarentine

I, like many parents out there with kids at home, am looking for new and exciting activities for my kids to do. This can range from workbooks and lesson plans, to bike riding and basketball, to chalk and art supplies, to…here we are…board games.

Currently, my kids are at the Candyland stage of board games, but both have mastered the experience and are craving something just a little more advanced. And when I saw Enchanted Forest on Amazon, it sparked something in my head.

You see, I watched just a little too much Today’s Special as a kid in the late 80s, and read far too many volumes of Grimm’s Fairy Tales, Aesop’s Fables, and Hans Christian Andersen stories. My brain is warped into the realm of escapism, and the second I saw this game, I knew that I wanted to play it. I’m admitting it, I’m using the kids as an excuse– I want to play this game.

So if you look at the board, it looks like it’s just one level up from Candyland, which makes me hope my kids will love it. The Fairy Tale tropes are exciting enough to reel them in, and once my son saw that there was a gingerbread house on the board, it was enough Candyland tie in to pique his interest.

You can order Enchanted Forest for $21.99 on Amazon today and get your kids playing more games during this strange time in quarantine. Because remember, games and fiction help us imagine a better future.
