Toy Wizards Review: My Hero Academia Shigaraki Figure By McFarlane Toys

For My Hero Academia fans, creepy villains are truly an art form. And it seems that McFarlane Toys took the fan affinity for dark and creepy bad guys into account when they designed their stunning 7-inch Tomura Shigaraki action figure.

Not a single detail is missing from this figure which the website describes as “ultra” poseable (we hear you, McFarlane Toys…thanks for the fan service!) with 22 unique points of articulation. The paint is perfect from the hair all the way down to his super-detailed red sneakers. The figure itself is lightweight and perfect for display or play. And he comes with an additional set of “relaxed” hands and a stand complete with official logo.

Perhaps the only thing missing for me on this figure is a second head without the hand mask. But as beautifully executed as this figure is, anything missing now is just something to look forward to in future releases.

This figure is available in-store and online at GameStop now for $22.99 and can be pre-ordered on Amazon with a price guarantee of $19.99 and is set for release on October 4.
