Hasbro Redesigns ‘Friendship is Magic’ Ponies As Retro 80s My Little Pony Toys

Coming September 1st, 2019 with an MSRP of $24.99 are six little modern ponies experiencing a blast from the past. Fans of the new, smash hit show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic might get a kick out of seeing their modern ponies redesigned 80s style.

THROWBACKS.

I personally wasn’t a pony fan as a kid. My older sister collected these like wildfire, but if it wasn’t a human or a humanoid style toy (robot, cyborg, etc) I couldn’t connect to it so easily and execute the game I wanted to have happen. Also, my Barbies couldn’t sit on ponies that easily, so I couldn’t even play ‘Poor man’s Rainbow Brite’ with them. But that’s another story– this isn’t for me! Pony collectors, it’s for YOU!
