Hasbro Shows Off San Diego Comic Con Star Wars Toys

You won’t need the force to get these Exclusives!

A couple of Star Wars Exclusives have been announced. First up is a Star Wars: The Black Series 6-Inch Boba Fett Figure in Kenner Empire toy colors. This means red and yellow gauntlets like the original Kenner toy. Not Movie accurate Jedi all red or Empire all green– trust me that’s a thing. I like the colors on this; I loved my Boba Fett Kenner toy. I really think this is great. What is best on this toy there is a red color on the top of his rocket backpack, giving us the look of the missile firing Boba Fett we where all scammed out of as kids. I know I was upset!

What is better it is not a true SDCC Exclusive– they will be available at other cons down the road and or online at Hasbro Pulse after the show. This makes it more of a Shared exclusive with a SDCC first to market. According to Hasbro, it “may be available at other select conventions in North America, South America, Australia, and Europe”, as well as select retailers in Asia.” This figure will retail for $24.99 plus taxes at San Diego Comic Con July 17-21st.

Next up is another Retro three-pack nod to Kenner packaging. Star Wars: The Vintage Collection 3.75″ Original Trilogy Luke Skywalker Jedi Destiny . Three packs were kind of rare in the Kenner days and I have never met a Star Wars collector that doesn’t go bananas over seeing a three pack. This is a weird three pack, why? Because it is a three pack of Lukes. Nothing but Lukes. We get Stormtrooper disguise Luke, X-wing Luke, and Jedi Luke with real robe. Not the choice I would do for a semi- three pack of Lukes. I would want a Luke with the classic Tatooineial poncho; what happened to that it was a great fashion statement? Next should be Bespin gear; that was the rad Luke I thought still want a jacket like that. Jedi Luke is a great finale, I still approve of that choice.

Great head sculpts on these and each guy comes with a correct weapon for the outfit. This will retail for $49.99 at the con and same caveat applies they will sell it at other spots at any given time.
