On May 21st 2019, a new storybook for children titled Close Friends, Chibi Godzilla by Chiharu Sakazaki was published in Japan by Kodansha. This new book is the second piece in Toho’s official line of ‘Chibi Godzilla’ media, following Do Your Best, Chibi Godzilla, which was published in October 2018.

As if these stories weren’t the most adorable thing in and of themselves, new toys (presumably) from Bandai were teased on the internet. The three toys shown off are Chibi Godzilla himself, Chibi Mothra, and Chibi Ghidorah.

Here’s the caveat, and here’s where you are going to hate us until more information about these three adorable toys comes to the surface. We have no specs, other than they are likely made of soft vinyl. I’d assume they are in the 3-5 inch range. There is no MSRP yet, and there is no link where you can preorder them. But if these are truly Bandai, there’s no reason why major distributors and websites like HobbyLink Japan won’t have information on where we can find them.
