Hasbro’s New Transformers Roll Out!

Toy Wizards was invited to an exclusive Hasbro brand event today as the industry warms up for New York Comic Con, which officially opens tomorrow. The most impressive of their offerings were the incoming Transformers, a full spread of impressive new figures. Check ’em out:

As a Machine Wars fan, I was most psyched for Starscream, in his look from that very niche toy line.
If you are looking at an action figure with its name on it, it is likely a G2 Transformer.

Here are some Bayverse classics, sure to generate opinions on the latest news that Bay might be back for another round with the franchise.

This is another big boy, like the recent Grimlock release.

And of course, there’s even more coming in the Studio Series line:

Having just read the first appearance of Shredhead in the comics, I finally understand where they’re coming from with this, and it’s pretty great!

Hasbro displayed lots of new toys at their event, but Transformers were by far the most in number. Given all the great work here, it’s no surprise they’re proud of it.
