For the first time ever, Todd McFarlane Productions’ official San Diego Comic-Con exclusive comics will be available to fans everywhere through a special Todd McFarlane Whatnot live show on July 9. That means you don’t have to attend SDCC to get your hands on this year’s highly limited convention exclusives.
This special release celebrates a rare collaboration between Todd McFarlane and acclaimed artist Artgerm. The collector’s set includes two exclusive covers: Artgerm’s stunning original painted artwork and a second special version featuring Todd McFarlane’s signature inks layered over the same piece, creating two distinct interpretations of the artwork. Both books will be signed by Todd McFarlane.
Only 750 signed collector’s sets will be available, with each set including one Artgerm cover and one Todd McFarlane inked cover. These books will be available exclusively during the Whatnot live show while supplies last.
Unlike previous years, these exclusives will not be sold at the Todd McFarlane Productions booth during SDCC 2026. Fans who purchase a set during the July 9th live show are expected to receive their books before San Diego Comic-Con 2026, allowing them to seek Artgerm’s signature during the convention if they choose.
The July 9 event also kicks off a new series of Whatnot-exclusive Todd McFarlane comic releases, with additional limited-edition books planned throughout the rest of the year.
