July 5th, 2026 – Tokyo, Japan: Based on the immensely popular manga by Ryoko Kui, which surpassed 14 million copies (including digital editions) in circulation in Japan, “Delicious in Dungeon” started its first season in 2024. This time, we are happy to inform you that the previously greenlit second season, “Delicious in Dungeon Season 2” is scheduled to air in October 2027, and an ultra-teaser visual has been released.
This information was announced at the TRIGGER Panel at “Anime Expo”, North America’s largest anime event held in Los Angeles, USA, on Saturday, July 4th at 2 PM local time. Alongside the broadcast in October 2027, the anime “Delicious in Dungeon Season 2” is also set to stream sequentially only on Netflix.
In conjunction with this, the newly released ultra-teaser visual features the Chimera-turned Falin, who is controlled by the lunatic magician Thistle and pursued by Laios, Marcille, Chilchuck, Senshi and Izutsumi into the heart of the dungeon. The journey to save Falin finally reaches the crux of the story. Stay tuned for further updates!
Additionally, from today at 9 PM (JST), “Delicious in Dungeon ~Dungeon Exploration Radio~” will resume its streaming on the KADOKAWA Anime YouTube Channel. Hosted by Kentaro Kumagai (voice of Laios) and Sayaka Sembongi (voice of Marcille), this upcoming episode will cover the latest announcements alongside brand-new information, so be sure to tune in!
