I haven’t read Matt Dinniman’s Dungeon Crawler Carl series, but they are insanely popular. Bestsellers, the series is the story of a man and his ex-girlfriend’s cat surviving a post-apocalyptic game show. If that sounds difficult to understand, just think of the zaniest TTRPG game you can, and you’re halfway there.

Playmates is making figures for this book series, which is a great idea! The concept of a toyetic book isn’t explored nearly enough, and I wish them all the success with it. Here are some samples, from which you can probably glean the tone of the series:
