Toy Fair 2026: Hasbro’s Transformers Roll Out!

So far, Internet buzz has been mixed on the latest Studio Series releases promised from Hasbro, but seeing certain figures, especially niche characters, live in their Toy Fair booth really moved the needle in the right direction for me. Here’s some of my must-preorders:

Quintus Prime was my favorite recent release, so maybe I’m just biased toward slime green

I don’t need another Sunstreaker or Wheeljack, but Dude in Ice Cream Truck Colors? YES PLEASE.

Y’know, if you can just buy the Matrix of Leadership, it makes more sense how Hot Rod got it.

I like these. They feel like Action Masters vehicles.

Beyond these picks, there is, of course, more. There’s the Studio Series Astrotrain you’ve likely seen mistransformed in official photographs. There’s Cyberworld’s regular figures, which are fun. There’s more Age of the Primes. Take a look:

This Huge Boi will cost ya, but you are getting a huge toy.

According to Hasbro, there’s no plans to get prices down, largely because there are many factors beyond their control, but at least there’s a good range of products you can strategically aim your dollars at.

A Hasbro rep also said there are no plans to bring the Japanese Wild King line to the U.S., as they are focused on Cyberworld, but, if you know the figures, you know this might be something to push for in the future.

In all, Hasbro’s Transformers have my money. The entire line isn’t for me, but is it for anyone? We all take our gems, with plenty of background geek-out characters to fuel that hunt, and Hasbro seems happy to oblige. There are enough bots big and small to go around.
