I didn’t have an appointment. Most of the time, you need appointments to view Toy Fair booths. But in this case, I walked up to the Blokees rep and said, “I’m from Toy Wizards, I don’t have an appointment, but I am OBSESSED with your toys. Can I take some pictures?” They graciously said yes.

Blokees are bringing back that Transformers Action Masters charm in buildable models that are as fun to play with as they are to make. Here’s what I mean:

Also in that booth was Boss Fight Studios, whose Spartan figure I keep on my desk. I couldn’t NOT take pictures of their stuff, too (with permission, of course).

Sometimes, a booth visit is just a serendipitous mix of fandom and great design. This – was one of those visits.
