Toy Fair 2025: The Loyal Subjects’ M.A.S.K. Line Brings Back an Old Fave

By Jonathan Alexandratos

The Loyal Subjects’ most anticipated reveal at Toy Fair 2025 was surely the Mobile Armored Strike Kommand, or M.A.S.K., toys. Just to frontload this: there are four toys whose mold all closely resemble the originals (with only minor cosmetic changes like ports for blast effects). They are priced for the die-hards, at $30, $50, $75, and $99 for the Condor, Thunderhawk, Switchblade, and Rhino, respectively. Big Bad Toy Store will be first to market with these in July 2025. It’s too bad there are currently no plans to take these great toys to kids with more affordable prices. There’s nothing outdated about the M.A.S.K. play features, and that evergreen quality would surely entrance kids. Maybe someday, but if the strategy is for these to fund a project like that (or even more of these toys), the current price point may prove to be…ambitious.

But M.A.S.K. isn’t the only mouth-watering TLS drop. Strawberry Shortcake makes that adjective literal with their real-smell feature.

Like me, My Pet Monster and Popples will be 40 in a year. I imagine it will look better on them…

Some reporting I’ve seen has suggested the chains on this don’t break away, but they do.

The TLS Jem doll has been scarce at Walmart, but that’s going to change. She’ll be in more places too, with friends!

And last but not least, here are some of TLS’ other incoming offerings.

All in all, lots to look forward to from The Loyal Subjects!
