Toy Wizards Aaron Sparrow and Scott Zillner were lucky enough to attend a screening of G.I.Joe the Movie an exclusive panel discussion featuring the new G.I.joe comic writer Joshua Williamson and Robert Kirkman. During the panel they had mentioned how much the movie has a huge influence on the direction for the Energon Universe for Joe’s and Cobra La in the books. A fan favorite Mercer has been seen as a big player in the new books. Also mentioned was a very long timeline planed for the book. So we all have a lot to look forward to with Skybound and G.I.Joe.
Attendees to the screening event were also given a special copy of the G.I. JOE #1 with an exclusive cover just for us. As well as a selection of G.I.joe toys from Hasbro. Announced at the panel was that G.I. JOE #1 was the most sold comic for Skybound. Raffle prized included the brand new Skystriker Hiss tank set Link here as well as the new Classic G.I.Joe Compendium that is just so massive.
