MONSTORS : Sham-Moo-Moo & Sting-Cobra Action Figures

MONSTORS is my love-letter to vintage toys from the 80’s and 90’s, where things were buff, whimsically bizarre, and insanely nonsensical-wacky!

It started in 2021 when I was looking at my toy collection of MOTU, TMNT, and so many others, and thinking to myself – “What dont I have that I want?” I let things stew in my man-child-brain for a bit – what I liked, what I felt was missing, and what I wanted more of… which eventually led to buff style tribal warriors with animal heads! Because I like buff warriors, and I like animals, DONE! But to make them a little bit more unique, and to itch my love for original creature design, I decided to make each character a combination of TWO animals and “Beastly Buff Brawler Bros” became the recipe!

That’s how MONSTORS was born… I did this as a passion project for myself first, to fill in gaps in my collection, and then I wanted to share it with everyone else who loves the same stuff I do! He-Man & MOTU, TMNT, Street Sharks, Extreme Dinosaurs, Battle Beasts, etc!

I mean, LOOK AT EM! They fit RIGHT IN!

These had to be FUN, and not take themselves too seriously… a little bit of “derpy-silliness” to each lil guy, so naming the first two characters Sham-Moo-Moo and Sting-Cobra gives collectors an immediate window into what these are about. They LOOK cool but they are fun!

These will be updated super detailed “CLASSIC STYLE” toys / figures… Classic Articulation baby! Head swivels, arm swivels, waist swivels, and MORE!

All parts below we are aiming for swivels. Heads, arms and waists FOR SURE, but going for tails, wrists, and more! Depends on the figure and the part. We do NOT want compromise these sculpts, we love em! THEY ARE CLASSIC BABY!

And the “OR” in “MonstORS” celebrates the interchange-ability to these things allowing the collector to really make them their own. Swap their heads, arms, and other body parts (varies per character.)

Sham-Moo-Moo and Sting-Cobra are just the start, with almost 20 other characters designed for this line, where almost everything is swappable, the future possibilities are damn near endless!

I’m hoping my 18 years of experience in making high-end statues brought these to an elevated level that adult collectors would want in modern toys on something more classic-feeling. I’m an 80’s kid, I know it’s what I want, and I’m hoping it’s what others want, and regardless I’m excited to get these produced and into as many hands as possible!
