I love everything that Heavy Metal has to offer, which includes any and all figures and toys of Taarna. But for me on this one, for the price point, we have some odd stuff happening. I really like the Incendium figures that are in the $30-$50 range. For the price on this one, I’m glad we’re getting Avis alongside her (and he looks really cool in paint and build) but for Taarna, I think she’s over painted. Her joints also look puppety. What can you do– she’s basically naked. You’re going to see it all. But I’m wondering if the photography is just over-rendered, or she has been airbrushed a few too many times. The gentle smile isn’t working for me either– give me my warrior babe scowl!
