Pixel Dan was able to premier the figures recently and we wanted to share our thoughts on the line and whats coming up next. We have known about the wave specifics for some time. This is our first look at the next wave of figures.
Green Goddess is a first for this scale and for those of us that are MOTU mini comic fans this is a real treat. She is not translucent so none of the breakage problems that we had with the classics version. Comes with all of your normal Teela gear so is also a easy Snake woman conversion as well.
Stinkor the best story of the original figure was from my friend Brandon. After getting the figure from Toy R Us and opening the figure in the car on the way home. The Smell hit everyone in the car his mom wanted him to toss it out the car. Good news that the new Stinkor will continue to smell with patchouli, yes the evil smell is actually hippy.
Webstor not Webster that was a different show in the 80s. This figure will have a special action with the backpack. Funny note about him as well. When I first moved to LA my upstairs neighbor worked for Mattel and was the designer for Webstor.
Lords of Power Beast Man V2 redecorate has been seen for the first time. This repaint of the Power Con exclusive and concept art all red is so much different in paint and makes it a new figure in my mind. This doesn’t hurt the box set version and gives us actually more play and versatility to my mind for the universe. The color different aside you now have beast men. Think about that for a moment you got Beast Man then an army of these as Beastmen now that is pretty cool.
Lastly we got the first look on an upcoming Target Exclusive Vac Metal Armor He-Man and Battle Damaged Battle Cat. Battle Cat has battle damage deco and metallic red armor. Greyskull colored base as well to incorporate to your growing collection. No word on release date on this yet however most of us are still waiting for a reship of the Rise of Evil Two Pack still before another Exclusive at Target.
