Yeah, I know– we Toy Wizards don’t waste any time. And sure, this article might be in bad taste, but we’re toy news, so let’s keep it topical.
As the whole world is aware, actress (we use that term loosely) Gina Carano was fired from Star Wars: The Mandalorian last night. Unable to close her mouth and enjoy a sexy paycheck from being a co-star on the hottest television program in the world, Carano found herself in a thick hot swamp of warnings after she fell into the quicksand of social media controversy and crappy opinions no one cared about. It’s really interesting, in my opinion, what sudden attention does to some people. Like when out of nowhere you’re a breakout star and it feels like you have power a voice, some real weird ramblings come out. In fact, as a fellow muscle babe myself, I followed Carano on Instagram for a brief moment before quickly becoming fatigued by her “content”. It was wave of attention grabbing smirks, inauthentic motivational quotes, and glimpses of cleavage and shots of her legs normally saved for amateurs getting their first taste of internet attention, er, friendship.
So today, we are checking out the Cara Dune toys that are still available to purchase today. I’m telling you– in 20 years this story is going to be wild and with the controversy attached to Carano, you’ll want to make sure you have a copy of her character’s toy. Cara Dune might slip into obscurity, and if by chance she is recast, you’ll want to have the prototype version one in your collection.
