Chibi Maruko-Chan was one of those old quirky slice of life animes that I used to watch in raw Japanese on the Japanese public access channel back in the day. Yes, we actually had one of those in the San Fernando Valley prior to the Digital Cable takeover and when weird things came in through your antenna and black box. It was charming, sweet, and a long time Japanese cultural staple. She always sort of reminded me of the female version of Crayon Shin-Chan without the wiener humor. Super cute and sweet, this Nendoroid will make a fantastic addition to any classic anime lover’s collection.
