Mondo SDCC 1/6th MOTU Mer-Man “MOTUbi” Variant

This is not a “oh no it sold out again” article. This is a Mondo 1/6th scale exclusive it would have been impossible to get at Comic Con much less online. This piece was limited to 250 pieces– that is a very small run. Even some Diamond Select Comic Con exclusives were selling out at runs of 5-6000. This is about how amazing this piece is. The Skeletor was last year’s piece; I saw it but was not impressed. However, after seeing this Mer-Man at Dcon last year I was in love. I don’t collect the Mondo 1/6 run of figures but this guy was stuck in my mind.

It was supposed to be a Designer Con Exclusive for this year but seems to be moved up to SDCC online sale. They sold out like before you could blink– there was not even time to cry here. This saves me from jumping into more super expensive toys that I could not open because they would be worth too much money. Sigh, but damn that is an amazing figure and I felt it was my responsibility… no… my duty to share on how good it is. Hats off to Mondo and this really amazing art piece dedicated to Masters of the Universe.

By the Power of Grayskull, you too can have the Power! Mondo is proud to bring you the next figure in our Masters of the Universe 1/6 scale line- an ultra limited Mer-Man MOTUbi Variant! Inspired by our love of all things Sofubi, this Mer-Man variant is a colorful new addition to our MOTU line and a great follow up to our sold out Skeletor MOTUbi released last year.

Painted by Hector Arce, these convention exclusive Mer-man are all numbered and limited to only 250 units worldwide. Making this the most powerfully (and colorfully) fishy figure you will ever find, from here to Eternia’s oceans!
