How to Train Your Dragon Hiccup & Toothless 1/6 Scale Limited Edition Statue by Taka Corp Studio

I was really excited to see this statue until I saw the MSRP and now I’m not so much excited anymore. However, it made me realize that much in the way of The Iron Giant, collectible style toys from How to Train Your Dragon are ones that I need more of in my collection.

Just like…you know…not for $900. But if that’s what you want to pay, it’s available for preorder today and ships Q1 2021.

Like many fans of the fantastical, I think that How to Train Your Dragon is without a doubt Dreamworks magnum opus. Sure, it is geared toward children, which is fine because head canon, extended fan universes, and fan fiction, but there’s a gravity to it and so much beauty behind the character designs and arcs (I’ve always been a Hiccup fan!) that I would love to see more premium (albeit not quite this premium) figures and statues dedicated to the franchise. But hey, if that’s not possible, we have plenty of youth-geared goodies to choose from to decorate our desks, shelves, work spaces, and wherever toys make an appearance.
