Raise your hand if you had no idea that Kotobukiya had a male equivalent answer to its Bishoujo aka ‘Pretty Girl’ statue line. This Joker is is the first I am seeing of it and I’m dying– he looks like every tragic goth guy my two older sisters used to fight over back when we were teenagers.
Clown Prince of Joy Division, am I right?!
::creeper smile remains frozen on goony-ass face::
Let’s move forward.
I can’t wait to see what other Ikemen statues start creeping out from Kotobukiya. This Joker delights me in a way that is wholly ironic because I want to see the flavor of fans it causes to wriggle out from under their “my love for this statue totally isn’t sexual” rock.
Joining the Ikemen, or “beautiful man” lineup is the Dark Knight’s arch enemy: the Joker!
The Joker returns as a gorgeous limited edition statue trading the trademark purple suit for a chic monochromatic tuxedo and stands on a matching black and white checker board base. Wearing a mischievous grin while holding a long cane in one hand and a joker playing card in the other, this statue perfectly showcases the measures Joker would take to get the final laugh.
