If that Aang isn’t one of the most ridiculous looking toys I have ever seen, and I kind of need to have it in my life right away.
Really puts the wow in WOWZERS, am I right?
That said, it is super cool to get to see Wave 2 of Diamond Select Toys’ Avatar: The Last Airbender action figures. What’s not so cool is that they are showing off these figures as a wave of two. The first wave, which we have discussed extensively on this site, were Aang, Kitara, and Zuko– strong contenders for wave one! A new Aang figure (with the most amazing expression I have ever seen in my life) is here for Wave 2 (I’m not even kidding, I will order that son of a muffin the second it is available on its own and now two pack), and an Azula. Azula is a great addition to Wave 2, but I thought (and this is just conjecture) that I remembered seeing Diamond discussing that Iroh or Ozai would be in Wave 2. If Diamond’s waves are 3 figures (based on what we saw for Wave 1) then we may still be in for an announcement. We will see if any more show up for preorder.
