With Neon Genesis Evangelion arriving on Netflix June 21st, 2019 (along with two of the movies), fans of the classic 90s anime about mental health and teenage angst cleverly disguised as a mecha show have much reason to celebrate! Including drooling at immaculate toy statues that really, most of us will never be able to afford.
But we can ogle and dream, can’t we, my fellow collecting friends? And really, looking at these statues makes me think one thing.
Still open for preorder from Sideshow Collectibles come three delicious art statues from Neon Genesis Evangelion, the anime with the most distinctive theme song in the world that OLDtakus embarrassingly botch when they insist on singing it in public.

Prime 1 Studios have created an Evangelion Unit-00, an Evangelion Unit-01 (my favorite), and an Evangelion Unit 02 (that awesome red one). All three stand about 24″, feature accessories, weapons, and alternate hands. Price, preorder links, and images are below.
