Yesterday via Twitter came a very exciting announcement from NECA Toys:

Coming Sunday, June 23rd 2019 is an official NECA Fan Event at Yestercades in New Jersey!

The event will feature action figures on display, a live sculpting demo, live Q&A, and all the arcade games you can play.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Is it possible that NECA Toys is joining the convention scene with a toy show of their own if this is successful? NECA Toys’ presence has only been getting bigger and bigger. And now with the substantial number of subsidiaries they own (such as the board game company, WizKids), there is absolutely no reason they don’t have the financial means, resources, and content available to host something really unique and special.

Plus, they have tons of connections in the toy manufacturing industry! Do you know how many fascinating panels and programming events they could make if they had a few experts on their sides?
