PCS Collectibles, maker of many beautiful (and expensive) statues and action figures, teased a little something to their fans this morning. The image in question? An in-progress shot of what appears to be a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figure.
While it’s not 100% recognizable which iteration of Turtle we’re looking at, I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s the 90s movie turtles. PCS Collectibles (a Sideshow brand) already has four turtle statues up their sleeve, but their selection is somewhat limited with this specific license. Currently, they have a new movie Mikey, cartoon style Raphael, two cartoon style Donatello figures, a cartoon Shredder, and cartoon Casey Jones.
While we, by no means, would call PCS Collectibles’ statues ‘affordable for the average consumer’ (if you read our articles, you’ll know the average range is $250-$500 per piece), that doesn’t discount the artistry involved in every piece the brand produces.
We are excited to see more from PCS Collectibles’ newest turtle collection and will report new details as they become available.
