Hasbro and Kotaku reveal “Cyberverse” Spark Armor series

Hasbro and Kotaku have teamed up for a fun reveal leading up to Toy Fair 2019: The “Cyberverse” Spark Armor series! Taking cues from past Transformers toys (including shades of G1 Action Masters), these figures feature a transformable “base” figure such as Prowl or Optimus Prime which include a vehicle that can become armor and weaponry for the robot. This new expression of the line in “Cyberverse” will feature three price points:

Battle Class ($14.99 USD)
This assortment includes Prowl, Jetfire, Starscream and of all characters Sky-Byte based on his “Robots in Disguise” appearance. These are due to be available on August 1, 2019.

Elite Class ($24.99)
This assortment includes Bumblebee, Megatron and Optimus Prime. In an interesting touch, Bumblebee’s vehicle/armor bears some resemblance to the Space Battleship Yamato! This assortment is also due on August 1, 2019.

Ark Power Optimus Prime ($49.99)
As the name states, this is a 12 inch (about 30.4 cm) Optimus Prime figure that includes The Ark as his vehicle and armor! Sure it does not make much sense but it looks really fun! Also, The Ark itself has not been represented much in toy form, so it is great to get a homage to that classic Transformers ship in toy form.
