After much internet teasing and concept art dropped, Frame Wars has announced that their Mecha Venusaur premium collectible sculpture is available for pre-orders.
The company is limiting these units to only 300, and they will retail for $350. The pre-order price drops to $300, and the early-bird price is $250. Pre-orders need an automatic deposit of $100 as a retainer fee.
In a world of super-hyped Transformers and DC/Marvel statues, it’s incredible and breathtaking to see Pokemon get their turn on the Mecha-Battlefield. Kicking off this line with an amazing Venusaur is so cool, and the specs just look phenomenal.
From the Frame Wars website:
“WITH SIX LARGE PETALS AND EACH WITH OVER SIXTY SOLAR PANELS ON IT, MECHA VENUSAUR CAN STORE AN INCREDIBLE AMOUNT OF ENERGY ABSORBED FROM THE SUN – AND IT USES THIS POWER TO FUEL ITSELF DURING BATTLES. IT’S ULTIMATE MOVE, ‘SOLAR BEAM’ GAINS CHARGE WITHIN THE PLATED ENERGY HEXAGONS BEFORE IT IS UNLEASHED THROUGH THE STAMEN BEAM MAGNIFIER. NEVER MESS WITH A PLANT”
Frame Wars is excited to present their first Premium Collectible, Mecha Venusaur.
The ‘Hybrid’ concept is unique to the Neo Terra Universe developed by Frame Wars, where organisms are infected by an alien substance known as ‘Terranium’ and undergoes a remarkable evolutionary process which transforms them into powerful mechanized creatures.
Mecha Venusaur is developed and crafted by fans for fans with a unique twist which has an amazing finish to an already remarkable design. Each art piece is hand-painted with the highest possible battle-worn effect and stands at approximately 12 inches tall (30cm). The Mecha Venusaur collectible also comes with its unique terrain base.
