Universal Studios Hollywood Power Up Band Review

Joey here, With the opening of Super Nintendo World, I thought I would give you a tour of the Power Up Bands.

There are 6 Power Bands to choose from each representing the teams of the characters, Mario, Luigi, Toad, Yoshi, Princess Peach, and Princess Daisy. When you purchase the Power Up Bands, you add it to your Universal Studios app. The best part of the Power Up Band is that it’s a slap bracelet, it’s a one size fits all.

As you do activities in the land, you collect coins from the iconic question boxes from the games. You can collect keys by completing challenges to go toe to toe in a shadow showdown with Bowser Jr, but that is not all they do!! The Power Up Bands also work in conjunction with Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge. A secret to the Power Up Band is that it is also an amiibo for Mario Kart 8 for the Nintendo switch system.

In the app, you collect stickers and complete goals for the hourly leaderboards in the land. As Mario would say, “Lets a Go”.
