Joey here and today we are talking about the newest ride at Disneyland, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

At time of this article, Virtual Queue at Disneyland is required for the ride.

Located in Toon Town, at the El CapiTOON theater you are there for the premiere of the new cartoon “Picnic Perfect,” starring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Pluto.

As you walk through the queue for the ride you see that the movie theater has been decorated with Mickey Mouse movie memorabilia and props supplied by Minnie. The fun factor of the queue is that there is parody poster of Disney films such as, The Chipmunk Trap (The Parent Trap), High School Goofical 3: Senor Year (High School Musical 3: Senior Year), and many others. Then as you continue into the theater, you see the concession stand and it is littered with Hidden Mickeys and Easter Eggs. Look at the popcorn machine and the totals on the registers.

You then enter the standing room only theater for the premiere, it starts with the song “Nothing can stop us now” and the cartoon starts. Due to some things going wrong, you are transported inside the cartoon.

This trackless dark ride transports you to the world of Mickey Mouse Cartoons, with cameos from Daisy, Donald, Goofy, and Pete, it a fun time! When you finish the ride, you exit the cartoon and renter Toontown (grand reopening of Mickey’s Toontown is March 18^th).
