McFarlane has brought back the 90s by reselling his toys again. No, that’s not me being cute about nostalgia. It is seriously its the same toys. He just made them modern– did we really need a Redeemer? That guy sucked the first time. Now, the new Violator is nice that is well deserved upgrade and Raven is a nice figure if you can forget it’s Spawn and use it as a fantasy figure. For that purpose, it’s great. But the exclusive Gunslinger is not new nor nostalgic enough for $25 bucks. The deluxe Kickstarter figure was nice but it has now launched the first of waves of dupes and reissues. I much rather have more Creatures like the Raw10 line or something creative that they could do nice. This is just phoning it in and I am not impressed.
