RAVENSBURGER REVEALS DISNEY VILLAINOUS: DESPICABLE PLOTS

Ravensburger, the acclaimed maker of high-quality board games, puzzles and toys, today announces their next expandalone game Disney Villainous: Despicable Plots, which adds Gaston (cover star), Lady Tremaine and The Horned King to the franchise’s diabolical roster. The game is now available for pre-order on Amazon and Target and will officially go on-sale nationwide on February 28th.

While Despicable Plots takes its name from dialogue lines in Beauty and the Beast, the sentiment can be applied to each villain’s dastardly objective. Gaston (Beauty and the Beast) must remove obstacles from his realm to prove to Belle that he’s the perfect man. Lady Tremaine (Cinderella) plots to marry one of her stepdaughters to The Prince. And The Horned King (The Black Cauldron) needs to take over the world by filling his realm with Cauldron Born after securing The Black Cauldron. While the Villainous game system was originally designed by Prospero Hall, this Despicable Plots is designed and developed by Mike Mulvihill of Ravensburger North America.
A limited-edition featuring a bronze Gaston game piece and special game sleeve will be available exclusively at Target.

Ravensburger first captivated the tabletop community in 2018 with Disney Villainous: The Worst Takes It All. Praised for its “surprisingly sophisticated” play mechanics,[1] the game garnered the Toy Association’s prestigious 2019 “Toy of the Year” Award. Its expandalone sequel, Disney Villainous: Evil Comes Prepared, was also nominated as a 2020 “Toy of the Year” Award Finalist. Fans have since become obsessed with the entire Disney Villainous franchise, which has sold more than one million copies worldwide.

Disney Villainous: Despicable Plots is available for pre-order now on Amazon and Target and goes on-sale at major retailers and friendly local game stores nationwide on February 28th. The title is suitable for two-to-three players ages 10+ and will have a MSRP of $24.99.
