GameStop never pulled down the wrong sales information on Zartan. This means that they still list Zartan having color change and he won’t. So one more time: no color change on Zartan. The good news is that he is shipping from BBTS and in stores at Walgreens and GameStop already.

Toy Wizards had the pleasure of being present at a recent G.I. Joe roundtable discussion with Hasbro and one of the topics that came up about Wave Three Zartan. I had commented in the talks that Zartan was the turning point of new design and color pallet choices– the action figure is spot on in every way possible. In fact he is one of the best G.I. Joe Classified figures we have ever seen. The Hasbro team where very happy to hear that since their plans were to have the line go in this direction.
One of the other media guests in this talk asked about the possibility of a color changing Zartan since he was (erroneously) described this way in presale listings and sales sheets. This was however quickly crushed as they said there was no way at this time to make a color change Zartan with the plastics and tools at hand. Any sales sheets with those effects where just old Zartan information pressed on to the new listings. Hasbro at this time will not make an color change Zartan.
