In today’s episode of “Hey, wait a minute, they never did that in the anime”, we have another art piece from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Nah, I’m just being a cynical jerk– but those of you who were watching anime and kicking around in the 90s will know what I’m talking about. I had the Rei, Asuka, Ritsuko, and Misato happily having a spring picnic poster and yeah…never happened!

What happens in doushin apparently does not stay in doushin.

But! That said, Union Creative is showing off a seriously beautiful and highly detailed art piece with everyone’s favorite mecha piloting teenage cover girls. (Really not digging myself out of this hole, am I?) Rei and Asuka and giving the viewer a sweet, knowing smirk as they pose atop a very uncomfortable looking piece of machinery donning their plug suits.
