Toynami has been reissuing its 1/100 scale Valkyries in retro 1980s Takatoku boxes. They already did two as convention exclusives now they are following up with more of the gang. Each retro box has new art by fan favorite Jamie Sullivan. The Takatoku boxes have a special place in the hearts of collectors– the eel skin like surface of the boxes set them apart from any other toy packaging, making it something fans need in their collections. The originals are becoming expensive as car payments, which makes these retro box reissues very affordable, not to mention that their release is just right around the corner.

Official Description via Toynami:

A gigantic spaceship crash lands on Earth, foreshadowing the arrival of an alien armada bent on war and destruction.
