Hasbro made a new G.I. Joe announcement about the current Cobra Island wave. They acknowledge the instantaneous preorder sell outs that have been rampant and assures the rabid fans (you and me) that they will be stocked in Targets this coming August 1st not the 14th as Target computers have in the system.
This has not stopped many fans from finding the figures and causing the fear of sellouts for this pivotal line launch. As a G.I. Joe fan myself, we have not been treated great by Hasbro over the last couple of years. The current fear is that Targets will get one case each, call it a day, and boom– we are all out figures. The good news is that solid pack cases are being found so more than one figure will be on the shelf unlike we have seen at Walmarts.
