I’m usually not into cloth clothing with toys, but I think seeing cloth on a toy of this scale is actually pretty cool.
I also think it’s excellent that ToysComic is adding Alita to the MoeFigs line. Somewhere between Nendoroid, Figuarts Mini, but better than Tamashii Buddies, there’s something cool happening here.
As an Oldtaku, I’ll never figure out where the original Gunnm manga translators pulled the name Alita out their asses (as well as being unsure why the original artist named it Gunnm) but I still miss the days where her name was Gally and she looked like a rich man’s Sailor Saturn.
Regardless, this is still an awesome little collectible. Alita costs $74.99, ships October 2020, and can be preordered today.
