Diamond Select Toys Reveals Packaging for Direct Market Tron Figures

Advertisements

We just got in new images of the carded direct to market Tron Figures. Noticeable difference from the Walgreen’s Tron figures is that they are not window boxed. They do have the Disc effects as originally advertised, but not the Build a Recognizer that was promised.

They are priced at $19.99 same as Walgreen’s now and have a new release date of February 2020. This has some fans very confused and feel duped for being one set window boxed and can not get a full set in the same packaging. Walgreen’s has the better packaging at this point, but we all still need a infiltrator Flynn. They knew this and took down single preorders for the one figure we already don’t have. I am sure you will be able to find him briefly at Direct Market stores by himself, but that window will be slim and short.

Each 7-inch scale action figure is based on the look of a character from the 1982 film – Tron, Sark and Infiltrator Flynn in his red infiltration disguise. Each features approximately 16 points of articulation and interchangeable disc accessories and effects. Packaged in the display-ready Select action figure packaging, with side-panel artwork for shelf reference. Designed by Yuri Tming, sculpted by Gentle Giant Studios.
