It’s been a great year for Marvel Legends fans… perhaps less so for their bank accounts… and it’s only getting better/worse! Hasbro has revealed the last two figures rounding out their upcoming X-Men: Age of Apocalypse assortment, and they are GLORIOUS.

The Age of Apocalypse is a fan-favorite storyline from the height of the X-Men’s popularity, depicting an alternate future where Xavier is murdered before he can pursue his dream of human/mutant harmony, and the world is instead brought under the heel of the villain, Apocalypse. Toy Biz produced several X-Men: AoA figures in the 90’s, but this is the first time we’re seeing an assortment of the characters in Marvel Legends form.

First up is the alternate timeline’s Jean Grey:

In the Age of Apocalypse future, she’d like to speak to the manager.

The second reveal is a figure I’ve been wanting for a long time, and was JUST about to make a custom of. Hasbro has saved me a lot of time and dremeling with their reveal of evil Hank McCoy, aka the Dark Beast.

He’s about to quote Robert Frost. But alternate timeline, EVIL Robert Frost.

These two reveals join two others dropped earlier in the week and previously reported by Toy-Wizards; Wild Child and Sunfire.

We get it, dude… you VAPE.
He doesn’t sniff his own crotch, he’s sniffs OTHER people’s crotches. Look, its a form of greeting, alright?!

These four figures join previous reveals of AoA Wolverine, Morph, and the AoA version of Cable, Nathan Grey aka X-Man, to round out the assortment.

If you want your hair to have this much body, you’ve got to stop using shampoo with sulfates, fam.
And you thought Hasbro was just going to reuse the Madcap head that came with Deadpool, didn’t you?

The only thing we don’t yet know about this assortment is what the Build-A-Figure will be. Online rumors suggest it will be The Sugar Man, who was previously released by Toy Biz, pictured below.

Mr. Potato Head has seen some SHIT.

However, this is purely speculation at this point, with other guesses ranging from Apocalypse himself, to a Sabretooth to match up with Wild Child.

If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.
He’s on that chain to keep him from humping legs.

Are you excited for this latest wave of X-Men? What’s your guess for the build-a-figure? Would you like to see a follow-up wave with characters like Cyclops, Magneto, Rogue, and Gambit? Sound off in the comments below!
