I’m not kidding when I say that I think I need to go broke and collect this entire wave. While the two human characters, Pee-Wee and Captain Carl are nice looking, it’s really on the puppet characters where Super7 crushed it. The Conky, Chairry, Magic Screen, and Billy/Randy puppets are just breathtaking. As someone born in 1985, Pee-Wee’s Playhouse was just so important to me. It was my Neverland. It was where all of my friends were. It was somewhere that wanted me to get up and participate. It was my Blue’s Clues or Blippy, which kids today are attached to but it was absolute insanity. Nothing was better than Pee-Wee’s Playhouse. Plus, hello– it introduced a new generation of kids to Harvey Toons and Terry Toons.
Get these toys. Reclaim your childhood. Be nostalgic. It’s okay to miss being a kid.

I hope we get a Christmas Special wave with Annette and Frankie, KD Lang, Grace Jones, Magic Screen’s cousin Magic Johnson, the Del Rubio Triplets, and of course Whoopi Goldberg on the video phone desperate for a cameo :p
