My Partner Pikachu uses touch sensor technology to bring Pikachu to life and enable anyone to become a Pokémon Trainer in the real world.
My Partner Pikachu features three touch sensors that utilize Pikachu’s trademark electric powers to trigger more than 100 unique interactions including lights, sounds, movement, and expressions. Based on your touch, watch Pikachu’s arms and ears move, his cheeks and tail light up, or hear one of his iconic Pikachu expressions or sound effects.
With two modes of play, you and your Pikachu can communicate in a fun and new way. Discovery Mode allows users to interact with Pikachu’s touch sensors to discover over 100 reactions and Training Mode lets users master Pikachu’s different touch sensor combinations to learn its nine different reactions. With 39 touch combinations and at least 5 reactions for each combo, My Partner Pikachu has over 100 different reactions.
I personally think this toy looks so charming and adorable. I really want to see how responsive it is and how well the AI works. Seriously, I’m intrigued to see how far we’ve come since Tamagochi!
