While Hasbro seemingly supplements their official Power Rangers Lightning Collection waves of four figures with spattering of additional figures (ala Goldar, MMPR Black Ranger, Green Ranger and Putty, etc.), news of their official wave 3 seems to have surfaced online.
According to Power Rangers Now, the suspected Lightning Collection wave 3 is suspected to contain the following Rangers:
•Red Ranger (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers)
•Yellow Ranger (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers)
•Gold Ranger (Power Rangers Dino Charge)
•Blue Ranger (Power Rangers Beast Morphers)
•Lord Drakkon (BOOM! Studios’ Comics)
While I personally think the single MMPR Red Ranger figure is a stretch because the Lightning Collection Austin St. John 2-pack, it’s possible Hasbro could take the convention exclusive pack, rip it apart, and sell both the MMPR Red and Zeo Gold separately.
What I’m most excited about is the prospect of the Lord Drakkon Lightning Collection figure. Previously, a Lord Drakkon figure was made by Bandai in very limited quantities for Power Morphicon 2018, which was a great looking figure. It’ll be really exciting to see what happens with Hasbro takes a pass at it.
Which leads me to continuously beseech– we will get those Lightning style Megazords next, right Hasbro?
