Max Factory Reveals My Hero Academia FIGMA Action Figures

Coming this year from Japanese toy maker Max Factory shows off two additions to their famed FIGMA action figure line. One is a new toy, the other is a reissue, and both hail from the wildly popular (okay, explosively popular) My Hero Academia anime.

The first is our reissue, and it’s Izuku Midoriya (aka cosplay of the year) coming with an MSRP of $63. You can preorder him today from HobbyLink Japan, though he won’t be released until November. Here are some stats from the Good Smile Company’s website:

  • Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
  • A flexible plastic is used for important areas, allowing proportions to be kept without compromising posability.
  • He comes with three face plates including a gentle smile, a face for combat scenes and a flustered, nervous expression.
  • Optional parts include a special hand part to pose him making use of his special move – the Delaware Smash!
  • Drop-shaped stickers are included which can be placed on the nervous expression to display him sweating.
  • An articulated figma stand is included, which allows various poses to be taken.

Second, we have Katsuki Bakugo, coming with an MSRP of $63. He stands about 14cm tall. You can preorder him today from HobbyLink Japan and he has a release date of December. Here are some stats from the Good Smile Company’s website:

  • Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
  • A flexible plastic is used for important areas, allowing proportions to be kept without compromising posability.
  • He comes with a grinning face plate and a shouting face plate.
