Hasbro has revealed its first (but hopefully not only) exclusive Marvel Legends figure for next month’s San Diego Comic-Con, and he’s a big’un.
Hasbro has been having a lot of fun delivering Marvel Legends figures in retro Toy Biz-style packaging, and collectors have been eating them up.
Get out the Mighty Putty to reinforce your collections’ shelves, because The Incredible Hulk is on the way! Utilizing the new body mold from the previously announced 80th Anniversary Hulk, this dark green behemoth is coming to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con! (No one calls it Comic-Con International, SDCC… stop trying to make “fetch” happen. And stop pretending you ever have any intention of ever leaving San Diego.)
The Jade Giant features his classic purple pants look, which actually look like they’ve been given a light drybrush to bring out the detail, although this may or may not make it to the final production piece. And although the original Toy Biz figure included a rock (insert your own Charlie Brown reference here) and a bendable pipe, this version includes a much more substantial pipe. Y’know, for hittin’ stuff.

Attendees to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con can pick up this exclusive Hulk figure for $34.99 at the Hasbro Pulse booth on the convention floor. (Booth 3329.) For those unable to attend SDCC, fear not, True Believers… Hasbro will reportedly make limited quantities available at other conventions throughout the year, as well as in their online store online at HasbroPulse.com.
