1000toys Shows Off Prototypes and New Products at Thailand Toy Expo 2019

Japanese toy maker 1000toys recently attended the Thailand Toy Expo, an Asian convention in its seventh year that celebrates toys and toy makers from all parts of the world. While showing off some of their original toy designs, the toy maker got to show off some familiar and licensed creations, Dante from Devil May Cry and Hellboy likely being the most notable to western fans.

And if you’re not yet acquainted with 1000toys and some of the products they make, just take a look at this beauty they showed off at the UK Toy Fair. If you’re anything like us, you’ll fall in love with their designs instantly, too.

Heart eyes forever.

Thailand Toy Expo 2019 was an amazing experience. It’s always so great to meet our fans from Thailand and the rest of SouthEast asia! The amount of creativity happening in the Thailand toy scene right now really blows our minds.
The latest figures from the nu:synth initiative were warmly received and MechatroWeGo continues to gain new fans.
We were excited to show off some new prototypes of upcoming projects:
– Introducing Toa Heavy Industries Synthetic Human ZOICHI – a new 1/12 action figure of the protagonist from Tsutomu Nihei’s groundbreaking cyberpunk manga Biomega. Still a lot of work to go on this project but we are very very excited about it! .
– The new SIMPLER model kit versions of MechatroWeGo which will be releasing very soon. SIMPLER is a new series of easy-to-assemble model kits that will appeal to enthusiasts of any skill level. .
– ROBOX 2 is the second release from our collaboration with Korean illustrator Kim Jung-gi. Robox 2 has a Skull-type head and comes with a transforming robot dog companion. Stay tuned for release details.

Also a big thanks to NIDA Group who are the official Thai distributor for our iconic licensed product releases. They showed off the recently released HELLBOY figure and displayed the latest prototype of DANTÉ from Devil May Cry at their booth.
Again a very big thanks to all our fans in Thailand – can’t wait to see you again next year!
