Preorders Open for McFarlane Toys’ Mortal Kombat XI Figures

Could it be true? Did I for the briefest second have a moment where I thought two new McFarlane action figures looked good? I did!

Until I realized they were artist’s renderings and not pictures of the actual action figures.

New from McFarlane Toys come two action figures from the upcoming Mortal Kombat XI game. First up are new Sub-Zero and Scorpion action figures, both with an MSRP of $19.99. These two delights from McFarlane Toys (a company I’m personally not much of a fan of, but reality is subjective and they sure do possess many a license) have an estimated release date of September 2019. They are available for preorder right now from websites like Big Bad Toy Store.

Sub-Zero is available here.

Scorpion is available here.

Both of these figures stand about 7″ tall, will have an alternate face, 22-points of articulation, and will come in windowed boxes for display. I’m very curious to see what McFarlane does with these, considering the response to their recent Stranger Things action figures. Remember also, alongside Spin Master, McFarlane signed a three-year licensing deal with DC to create a new line of figures. Therefore, there are pretty important products coming soon. As for Mortal Kombat, the most visible figures on the market at this time (in my opinion) are the ones created by Storm Collectibles, and even those all have $70+ price points and are sold out forever.

We will continue to report on McFarlane Toys’ Mortal Kombat line as new images are revealed.
