Power Rangers in Space fans– prepare to get very excited.
Because if you’re anything like me, you have a weakness for the majesty that is the Astro Megazord.
Look at him…look at him in all of his faux-Soundwave glory. He’s magnificent, right down to his ‘is that a cassette tape deck in his chest? glory. Astro Megazord and Delta Megazord join the lineup of SUPER MINIPLA series! Each can transform from the robot mode into the ship/shuttle mode (called Megaship and Megashuttle), and they also can combine to form the Astro Delta Megazord.
Interestingly enough, when Bluefin originally solicited this item in a press release from last year, they listed the MSRP as $42 a piece. But now on their website, the two model kits seem to come bundled for $84. I mean, that’s literally $42×2, but maybe I don’t want the Delta Megazord quite as much as the Astro Megazord. I feel like I should have the right to make the choice, seeing as though Bluefin Brands were the ones who originally said the two Mini-Pla kits were sold separately.
