First Look: Marvel Legends Comic-Style Hulk

Sure, we’ve gotten a few single release movie Hulks from Hasbro in recent years… we’ve even gotten a Gladiator Hulk Build-A-Figure from the Thor: Ragnarok assortment. But what fans have really been asking for… and haven’t gotten from Hasbro since the release of the Hulk/Valkyrie 2-pack in 2010… is a comic-style figure of the jolly jade giant.

It took nine years, but Hasbro may have just delivered the definitive Hulk action figure. Check out this image from Toy Fair:

This one’s tough on shirts.

This Hulk is a thing of beauty. It looks as if it towers over standard Marvel Legends figures (especially the first appearance Wolverine that it comes with in it’s “80th Anniversary of Marvel Comics” commemorative 2-pack). And while I would have liked double-jointed elbows on this figure, we’ve come to expect losing that on some of the larger figures. Thankfully, he does feature double-jointed knees for all the jumping and stomping action Hulk tends to get himself into.

As with a lot of reveals, this image was sent to me by a reader and fellow toy fan… so it this is your picture, please let me know and I will be happy to give credit where credit is due!
