Bandai has unveiled the next entry to their Super MiniPla line, and that is Choujin Sentai Jetman‘s Jet Icarus and Jet Garuda!
The Super MiniPla Tenkuu Gattai Jet Icarus (Celestial Fusion Jet Icarus) set represents the Jetman’s primary mecha. This mecha is composed of the five Jet Machines, namely: Jet Hawk, Jet Condor, Jet Owl, Jet Swan, and Jet Swallow. These five can also combine to form the Icarus Haken, a bird-like formation that allows the team to perform the Jet Phoenix attack.
This plastic model set also comes with Jet Icarus’ various weapons, namely: Birdonic Sabre, Icarus Axe, Icarus Magma, Icarus Crusher, Jet Lancer (which you can separate to form the Jet Daggers), and the Wing Shield. This set cost 5,400 yen.
Next is the Super MiniPla Choudokyuu Jet Garuda (Super Dreadnought Jet Garuda) set, which represents the Jetman’s second mecha. The item can also transform into its airship form, Bird Garuda. Just like the original DX toy and the series, it can combine with the Super MiniPla Jet Icarus (sold separately) to form the Great Icarus and the Hyper Haken!
This Premium Bandai web exclusive item cost 6,480 yen. Lastly, both Jet Icarus and Jet Garuda are set for a June release.
